Search - When viewing tagged content, we now show highlights in hit sentence and the list of matched keywords.
Influencers - Integrated newswire sending!
Editorial Content - Click the reach number underneath each article to see statistics from Similarweb.
Newsletters - Newsletter default templates from mNews now included for all New Meltwater accounts.
Mobile - Several defect fixes including PDF viewing on Android devices.
When you filter/show content by tags, you will now see highlighted keywords in the hit sentences and the list of matching keywords. This functionality works on the tags page, in all content streams, in the inbox, in newsletters and in widgets. The single exception is our mobile apps; however, the mobile team will be addressing this soon.
The way this feature works is that we save the hit sentence and keywords at the time that you add the tag, so that we can show it again later. Because of this, we will only show hit sentence and keywords for documents that are tagged from the desktop app (not mobile) after this release rolls out to Production. If a document is already tagged, viewing it after the release of 2.8 still will not show this information because we just have no way of knowing which search you happened to have used back when the tag was originally applied.
Social content users: this features has a defect that prevents it from working if documents have an emoji. We will fix this ASAP, very likely even before the next monthly release.
We’re adding an integration inside the Influencers product.
- 24/7 access - This is time-sensitive business and with this integration, you can submit a release in under 10 minutes.
- Comprehensive coverage - With over 100+ newsline destinations, we’ve got the globe covered!
- Financial wires (aka earnings releases) - A new offering. Public companies are required to send earnings releases four times a year.
- The entire workflow was designed to the app's new look and feel.
We have added a link to SimilarWeb from the reach number we display. This allows you to get more detailed information about the source the reach relates to.
Here are just a couple of the screens of information available to you when you click through into SimilarWeb from this reach metric:
You can see how the reach of the source compares to competitors on a global, country, and category scale.
Obtain information on how the traffic of the source changes over time and see where the traffic is coming from.
See additional context for the traffic going to the source.
Dive deeper into that context to see more specifics. The search traffic here was wholly organic and found mostly from the “huffington” keyword.
Know which social media sites traffic was driven from. Here is the web page the above screen shots came from: https://www.similarweb.com/website/huffingtonpost.com
We have made the legacy newsletter templates available to all. You can now use these templates to create and send newsletters!
This mobile release focuses on quality with a number of high priority defects resolved including PDF viewing on Android, translation updates, a notification setting race condition, and more! By the time you read this the updated app will already be available!
