Step 1: Select the tab "Agent" and click "New Agent" just below the Meltwater News logo

Step 2: Give your agent a name. Naming the agent gives it context, and makes it easy to reference later. For example if the search is for competitors you could label the agent Competitors, or Competitor X, etc. The name of the agent is independent from the search query and results.
Step 3: Type your search string into the white box on the left. If your search query is multiple words, it is necessary to use quotations. For example if searching for Olympic Games, you would want to put it in quotations, “Olympic Games”, in order to make it one search query and not two.
Step 4: Hit save on the bottom right hand side of the page.

The next time you receive your daily Meltwater report, this new content will be reflected. Also, Meltwater can use boolean for complex searches. See boolean operators.
