Meltwater offers three different types of reports that can be generated from your content streams: News Digest Reports, Dashboard Reports & Instant Notification Reports.
The article below will cover the following:
- What is a News Digest Report
- What is a Instant Notification Report
- What is a Dashboards Report
- How do I build a report?
News Digest Reports
A News Digest Report is a daily or twice-daily email report that is generated from content within the Inbox and your searches. This report is fully customizable and you will have the ability to edit the title, content options and delivery options.
You can quickly and easily see why each article appears in your Digest Reports with the option to show matching keywords. This is especially helpful for complex searches where there are very many keywords that might be matched.
There is a option in "Report Settings" that allows you to turn on matching keywords. This option is off by default, so make sure to check the box next to keywords to turn this setting on.
The Instant Notification Report allows you to be notified when new search results come into the system. Instant notifications can be configured for any circumstance where you wish to monitor critical results as they happen.
Dashboard Reports are analytic reports built from the widgets in your Dashboards. Meltwater Dashboards let you analyze what’s going on with your brand and your market in real time. You can dive deep into the data or choose from pre-packaged widgets that provide instant answers and eliminate the hassle of working with spreadsheets.
Build a Report
Reports are built from content in your Searches. Therefore, the first step to creating a report is to build your Searches. For more information on how to create a Search, review the Search help section.
You can build reports two ways:
If you are building a News Digest or Instant Notification Report, simply use the Reports Icon on the upper right-hand corner of the content stream in the Inbox.
For a Dashboard Report, use the Reports Icon located in the Dashboards section.
If you'd like to review your full report settings, you can go to Settings and select "Report Settings."
Feel free to reach out to your sales rep with additional questions or explore the Help Center further to learn more.
We hope you enjoy using the reporting features!
