Welcome to your go-to-guide on Dashboards! The article below will cover the following:
What are Dashboards?
Dashboards provide real-time perspective into market trends and themes in regards to the information you are monitoring.
Before you get started with Dashboards, you will need to set up your searches. If you have not yet set up your searches, you can read about that here.
After you have set up your Searches you can analyze your content in a single view using a collection of widgets that are organized by analytical themes. There are 3 pre-selected themes that include Monitor, Benchmark, and Analyze. You also have the ability to create a Custom Dashboard.
Creating a Dashboard:
Once your searches are created, simply go to Dashboards and click on the purple "New Dashboard" button on the bottom right-hand side of the page (also known as the FAB button). This will open up a window that will allow you to select the type of dashboard you wish to build (Monitor, Benchmark, Analyze or Custom Dashboard).
Follow the steps inside the Attach Search to Dashboard window to build your Dashboard. These steps vary a bit for each Dashboard type.
Once you have created your Dashboard, you can review your updated widget.
Creating a Dashboard Report:
Dashboard Reports are built from the widgets in your Dashboards. Therefore, the first step to creating a report is to build your Dashboards. Once you have built your Dashboard, go to "Dashboards" and select the Dashboard Name you would like to open.
Next you will click on the "Reports Settings" icon, select "Dashboard Report" as your Report Type and then add Title, Content and Deliver Options.
You can also create a Dashboard Report by navigating through the Settings avatar and selecting "Report Settings". Click the purple "New Report" button (also known as the FAB button), and then choose "Dashboard Report" as your Report Type.
To share a Dashboard, go to "Dashboards" and select the Name of the Dashboard you wish to share. You will then be able to "Invite Collaborators" and "Select Account users" to share with a specific user.
Dashboard Date Range:
You may want to modify the date range of a Dashboard. To do this, select the specific Dashboard you wish to make changes to and click on the drop down box (upper right-hand corner above your widgets) to display your date range options. You may choose 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, or set a customized date range.
To start exporting, go to "Dashboards" and select the Dashboard name you wish to open. You can then click on the blue arrow to move into the expanded view (hover your cursor at the top right corner of any widget to reveal the blue arrow.)
Click the Export icon and select the file type: PDF, Image, Simple Excel or Advanced Excel. Note: depending on the file type you choose, the file will either download to your computer or send through email.
Edit your Dashboard:
Here you can edit the Dashboard name or date range, modify the search criteria, add, delete, move and/or make a copy of a widget.
