If you're looking for clarification on how the documents in your account are measured, see the article below to learn more about the ways we determine the success of a specific document/documents:
What is measured?
Circulation
The number of "hard copies" that a publication has distributed during a specific time period.
Impressions
The number of people who have potentially been exposed to a story in the media.
Reach
Reach estimates the potential viewership of any particular article based on the number of visitors to the specific source.
Unique Visitors (UV)
The amount of people who visit a website within a specific reporting period
Advertising Value Equivalency (AVE)
The potential dollar value of media coverage. The reach numbers are the unique visitors of each source based on monthly activity. This is delivered to us by our partner SimilarWeb, a leading Internet technology company that provides marketing data and analytics.

All of the above is measured for each document within Meltwater. While it is very popular among our clients to look at the reach of a document, it is important to note that this these types of measurements are an estimate and it does not measure an exact value.
